How Liftoff works

Fair launches on a bonding curve or instant AMM launches on the XRP Ledger. Creators earn 70% of trading fees for life.

Two ways to launch

Fair launch. Your token starts on a bonding curve: the price rises as people buy and falls as they sell. Anyone can buy from the very first second at the same opening price. When the curve sells out (about 6,000 XRP raised), it graduates: the raised XRP and reserved tokens move into a token/XRP pool on the XRP Ledger's built-in AMM.

Instant launch. Skip the curve. Your token goes straight into an AMM pool seeded with your XRP, so it's tradable everywhere on the XRP Ledger from the first ledger. Your seed sets the starting market cap.

Creators earn for life

Every trade pays a 1% fee. 70% goes to the creator and 30% to the platform, both on the curve and in the AMM pool afterwards. Fees are paid to the creator's wallet automatically.

What's guaranteed on-ledger

What you're trusting us with

The XRP Ledger has no smart contracts, so the bonding curve is run by the Liftoff service. Each token gets its own vault account: buys and sells go straight to that vault, and its XRP backs only that token. You can check any vault's balance on the ledger from the token page. The vault's own key is disabled; the Liftoff service signs for it so it can pay sellers, open the AMM pool at graduation and collect pool fees. Every trade, payout and balance is public on the ledger.

Vaults marked 🛡 2-of-3 multisig need two of three signatures to move anything: our server, an independent co-signer, and an offline recovery key. The co-signer runs separately from our server and keeps its own copy of each token's books. It reads every payment from the ledger itself and only signs payouts it can verify: the curve price for a real trade, a refund of what was actually sent, or fees the token actually earned. So even someone who stole our server's key could not empty a vault. You can see the signer list on any vault in an XRPL explorer.

Before you buy

XRPL wallets need a trust line for each token before they can hold it. It's one quick approval in your wallet, and it reserves 0.2 XRP that you get back if you remove it later. Memecoins are extremely risky: only use what you can afford to lose.
